Would you get mad at me if I told you that I'm a vegetarian?
You'd probably say,"That goes against god's will! God made cows tasty for a reason!"

(I don't think cows are tasty, and I really am a vegetarian.)

Lol!!

Dude, i really hope your question wasn't serious. It confuses me how you people think so badly of christians, please stop this silly prejudice.

Well, there is nothing any christian can say against being a vegetarian. I personaly think its a good alimentary choice you've made, one that has no consequences to your spiritual life.

Personaly i think cows are the most delicious thing God has put upon this earth

I am a Taoist, but do find that eating meat is a natural way of life, but if you want to be a vegetarian that is fine too, nothing wrong with it really.

Why would Christians give you flack about being a vegetarian, when Daniel was one?

Well, that is your choice. The Bible doesn't say vegetarianism is bad. The only reference to such things I can remember. Is in Acts, when Jesus said the Peter, "get up Peter, kill and eat"--but it has more to do with eating things the Jews considered taboo then saying anything bad about vegetarians. So enjoy your meatless culinary delights. I know some Christians who are also veges'.

I am Christian and I am vegetarian. SO no I am not offended. I dont beleive meat is good foryou, and i dont eat it. It grosses me out. My ex worked in a slaughter house and I can tell you if you knew what I knew, noone would eat meat. but its a choice, and we each have a right to make that choice for ourself. Yes, you can be christian and still not eat meat. Just like we dont do drugs or drink or other things that are healthy, like eating too much fat too Healthy choices.

Not at all, to each their own choosing.

If I had to kill the animal, there is no way that I could eat meat...there is no way that I could site Bambii through a semi-automatic weapon and pull the trigger...also, no way I could kill a cow or chicken etc...

However, buying it at the grocery store...I don't have to see the pain/suffering of the animal...and quite honestly, probably just put those thoughts out of my head.

Congratulations! It's your choice. Great. Read the book
of Daniel and he wouldn't eat the Kings food, and ate only
vegetables and water and Daniel and his friends were healthier and stronger than the Babylonians.

When you are a Christians you have freedom and choices
so that's not offensive to me.

Genesis 1:29: "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."

God created us to be vegeterians, we started eating meat after Adam and Eve sinned.

Good for you, for making a healthy lifestyle choice that's good for the planet ... and also pro-life. That's what I say.

And for the first person who starts in about how God gave us the right to do whatever we want with the planet and its animals, please read this book first. It's about animal welfare, and it's written by a conservative former Bush speechwriter. I'm serious. It really may change your POV.
