We joined you in Korea, we are in Afghanistan with you, we ALLOWED you to test your cruise missiles in our north because of similarities to your intended targets at the time, the soviet union. We built the arm for the space station. I could go on but since you already hate Canadians, little things like inventing the phone, insulin. Yeah right pal, Canada has contributed nothing to the U.S. Get a life and get over the fact your girlfriend left you for a Canadian. And I hope they build the fence to keep you out. Who was there for you after 9-11, ask anyone that was stranded up here for days what Canada has done, who sent hospital ships to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Canada, your longest and closest ally, that's who. And you are welcome..I'm glad moronic views like yours are the minority, otherwise we'd have to head to Washington to burn the White House, AGAIN.

I don;'t know, could it be that Canada accounts for a large portion of trade both import and export. America needs Canadian raw materials (including oil).
I think supporting commerce industry and trade is a fairly important point to take into account in a capitalist society.
If we want to get a little more personal, during 9/11 the majority of air traffic was diverted to Canada. Canada set up relief stations, and even sent some of their rescure worker to aid in the search, rescue recovery and clean up missions that ensued.
Did you also know that Canada was the first nation to mobilize relief for hurricaine Katrina, and actually beat America's own national guard into some areas?
Canada comprises most of the NATO forces in Afghanistan, attempting to neutralize a little thing called Al-Qaida (the organization responsible for 9-11)_

Do we really want to be making issues with Canada? I like Canada and I like Canadians, the ones that I have met have been great and I love to go up on vacation to get out of the heat.... They have stood with the US many times and have been a longtime friend and lets not forget they are kind enough to share some important things such as oil or do you like paying a fortune for gasoline?.....

I know that Canada provides the US some oil and coal. They've also supplied troops in most major wars.

They have built some nice roads so that when we send in the Army and tanks to occupy our 51st state we won't have to wash mud off the vehicles.
