The real man is the hidden man of the heart.
Jesus was the only One who ever lived who obtained a testimony from God of being fully acceptable to God.
How does your life measure up compared to the teachings and works of Jesus Christ?
Jesus was so convinced of the lost estate of mankind that He allowed Himself to be tortured to death and crucified in their place, offering His own soul (self) as a ransom for the souls of mankind.
Now you decide if He died for nothing, or if you really need a Savior, just as much as your Christian friends.
The true measure of a man is how he conducts himself under extreme duress; not how he behaves while at peace.

You may appear the same on the outside but if they are truly Christians there is a difference on the inside. They have the Holy Spirit living inside of them. I don't know about them but I cope with life's trials much better with the guidance of my Lord than I did when I was lost. They also have the assurance of eternal life. The big difference in Christians and others is not a moral one it's a forgiveness one. They have owned up to being a sinner and asked for God's forgiveness and you have not. They are forgiven but because you only see your morality and haven't repented of your sins, they remain. They're no more perfect than you, just forgiven. I'm surprised they haven't explained this to you. God bless!!

I like this question. It is a good one. There are good Christians and there are good non Christians. But unfortunately, both groups will sin.
The difference is that Christians who have accepted Jesus as their savior have their sins paid for. In God's eyes, they are clean even though they still struggle as humans.
The Bible says they have their citizenship in heaven. That means God gives them the ability to have a different perspective. Their focus is heavenward not just on the things of earth.
So - you may look alike but there is a major difference.
Thanks for the question. It was insightful.

Well my friend, they are a step ahead of you I would say. Because when they die they will go someplace much better than where you go (if you continue to reject God). I'd say life in heaven is better than life in hell, and they are smart enough to see this. God gave you an option (yes you, even if you refuse to believe) to accept Jesus Christ as your savior and go to heaven or to refuse him and burn in hell forever. If you believe in the evolution THEORY then I truly feel sorry for you, because anyone with two brain cells would see that nothing is evolving...evolution doesn't just end. They say it takes thousands of years or whatever for things to evolve but I don't see anything half evolved or trying to evolve...it's just a theory because they found some apelike bones that looked very close to human bones but you know what...ape bones still look like our bones, and that is still just an ape and I'm still a human. my great great great great great grandparents were not animals...if you choose to believe your ancestors are monkeys then how could you consider yourself to be intelligent?

The Bible says in Isaiah 64:6: "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away." Also in Romans 1:17: "For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith." And also in 3:21-24: "21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
