Can you convert an EAA Witness polymer compact to .10mm? No. It won't take the beating of a .10mm. Even the 1911 frame has problems withstanding the beating of the .10mm. Glock, however, did it right. Gaston didn't convert an existing frame to handle the .10mm, he built a .10mm from the frame up.
So if you want a compact .10mm, get the Glock Model 29.
Good luck.

Why would you mess around with something as nice as the EAA? If you want a 10mm just buy one so everything works as it should. Most handguns are predicated to the round they fire so there will be no problems, etc. If you shoehorn a chevy V-8 into a volkswagen beetle you are going to have nothing but headaches. The 10mm is expensive as far as ammo goes, nasty to shoot, and does nothing that isn't done just as well by the 45 acp. Ammo is going to keep increasing in price and if you want to do any amount of shooting and have some fun you had better stock up on 45acp by the case now and go shooting later. I don't have much confidence in a polymer frame for something like a 10mm, it seems self defeating. Polymer is light for easy carrying but with a round like 10mm it would not be a lot of fun to do much plinking.

I doubt you'd find any way to convert it. Looking around at barrel manufacturers, almost nobody does one for the EAA Witness.
On top of that, 10mm is a powerful round. Perhaps too powerful for their polymer frame, I don't know. That may be the reason they don't make it with a polymer frame in the first place. (Yes, I know Glock makes one in polymer, but EAA is not Glock!)
I'm sorry to say you'll likely have to stick it out with what you have, or buy the steel frame compact. There's one on http://www.gunbroker.com last I checked.
Good luck.

With enough money and time, you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Why convert, when you can buy one in .40 S & W. (Also 10mm.)
When the 10mm came out, the FBI jumped on the bandwagon. It wasn't long until they decided the round had way too much power ot handle in certain situations, so they came up with their own load.
S & W jumped on the FBI load and found it could be made in a shorter cartridge and do the same job, and they called it .40
S & W. The advantages were so clear to everyone that caliber became the most popular faster than any round in history.
Due to the fact not many like full power loads in 10mm, Norma is the only manufacturer of full power loads. Buy them or reloading your own is the only option.

As others have posted, you can't do it (certainly not safely). 10mm is a stout round. Glock is probably the way to go and will probably be the least expensive.
Unless things have changed, Glock doesn't offer the 10mm on the 22 or 23 (also the 17 and 19) frame. They use a slightly larger frame for the 45 ACP and 10mm.

Nope! Not only does no one make conversion parts(with good reason), but the Witness compact frame is not strong enough for the 10mm.
If you want a 10mm compact, sell the EAA and get a Glock. Their compacts can handle it.

EAA Witness is manufactured by Italian gun maker Tanfoglio and they make some "if not the" finest hand guns in the world.
Your Witness is a really good gun. I wouldnt even want to change it but if you want a 10mm made with Tanfoglio quality. Here you go..

You won't be able to covert to 10mm at any cost.Your only option is to trade or buy another gun in 10mm. Sorry, but the way your gun is made makes any conversion impossible.......
