OK thanks a lot guys. She's better now. I was gonna take her to pet smart but she started twiching and spazzing out and now shes singing and being annoying again. And making sharp jagged sounds. That has to be normal now. Before she wasn't singing! THANK YOUS!

And please tell me if this isnt normal about the jagged sounds. I've heard others do this but im not sure!

YES! This sounds like she is very ill. She may have something stuck in her mouth, she may have a small tumor, it can be many different things. Please just take her to the vet.

edit: This is not directed at the asker in any way, so don't get offended, but for those people who think "oh the vet is too expensive and my bird may be fine or get over it", even the ones at Petsmart don't charge much. Is it really worth it to possibly KILL an animal because you don't want to shell out $20 for tests and an exam? What if your parents had done this to you when you were sick as a baby?

There could be something in your birds mouth. parakeets actually regurgetate seeds and feed their mates when you have 2 together. watch your bird in front of its mirror it will especially do that then thinking it is feeding its friend. Be sure and give your bird grit. They need this to help grind up those seeds it eats. I find that the perch covers with grit on them work nicely. The bird gets grit and keeps its feet and toenails in good condition. Occasionaly your bird can get a hull or something else hung and they will make a squeaking sound or popping sound from its beek. my bird does this. Plenty of fresh water and keeping your bird out of any drafts is important. Drafts can cause respritory distress. Be watchful and notice the differance between a bubbly sounding sneeze and what normal sounds are. Budgies make a variety of silly sounds, mine does! See if theres a discharge from your birds nose holes this can spell trouble. I hope all goes well for you and your prrecious friend.

My 'keet does this all the time...Just a little weirdo bird thing is all it is. No worries.

Looks like he's choking or something and is alarming at first, but is really OK!!

Sometimes my parakeet does this when a feather is stuck in her mouth. I don't think there is anything you can really do...seriously. But if it continues for quite a long time I would call a vet.
