Nope, just as you have no proof that the Flying Spaghetti Monster does not exist.

Well, at least your getting your summer reading done...

Okay, here's another point for you. First off, I totally agree with .T

There is no proof, only what we believe. No God/God are the same.

God has some characteristics that people question in the old testiment. Rather hardcore, violent ones that don't match up to the God of love that is worshipped today.

The Atheists have a point. But it does not mean that spirituality is not in existance. Just that it's our biggest question. Enjoy your spiritual life. It has nothing to do with anyone else. It's yours. The biggest issue with spirituality is the truths people set that make them rigid and controlling.

It could very well be ALL true, that it is just what we make of it. If so, then it needs no numbers other than 1.

I am an atheist. Sorry there is no proof that GOOD does not exist but there is also no proof that GOOD does exist. Please read George Bertrand Russel : Why I am not a Christ ( the title is wordly translated from German). For me personally: If you take a lot of billion atoms that forms me physically. If I am dead and this atoms form my ashes, I cannot imagine that there is existing a rest called the soul.
BUT I beliefe there are rules of civilisation and this rules cannot be broken for eternity without punishment (what punishment ever means) This rules are the 10 commandments for example. You will find in each religion nearly the same, for no human society can survive acting against them.
A proof o an existing GOOD is normally the question : " Who created the universe?". But this leads automatically to the qestion. "Who created GOOD?" There the try of a proof of GOOD in the scientific way comes to an end. You can beliefe or you can't like me. But one must be clear, if you don't obbey his 10 commandments as you say or if you don't obbey the rules of civilisation as I say, you will be punnished.
Greetings from Hamburg, Germany
Heinz

I don't have proof he doesn't exist, as you don't have proof he does exist. If there was proof either way, the topic of whether or not there is a God wouldn't be so popular. I think bad stuff happens due to bad luck and chance. I don't see how a perfect being could have an imperfect creation with a devil running around everywhere. I do agree that many bad things in life can have positive aspects to them, but these also are just chance.

Do you have proof that GOD exists?

We have proof that science created this world, at least.

You have some book that could have been written by a sad man on crack.

Can YOU prove that God caused the bad stuff to happen? We can prove how bad stuff happens :DD.

SCIENCE, BABY.

...

And, you spelled atheist wrong.

I think yours is a question that everyone has asked at one time or another.

The word "God" is inside the box. How about disposing of all names given to the energy that created all of the planets, stars and beings of the universe's? We all have choices.

I'm 11, too.

Ok everything you have said is just a rationalization to explain why things get messed up. It's not something you came up with yourself it's something you were told. Secondly, Evolution! The bible is proof god doesn't exist and the fact that there are thousands and thousands of other gods throughout history.

We don't claim to have proof, that is why most Atheists (over the age of 13) still say the God is a possiblity. Do you have proof he does exist?

None. I don't have any proof that Santa Claus does not exist either. Indeed, there's plenty of anecdotal evidence of presents appearing and cookies/milk being eaten unseen.

Faith is required. Don't look for hard evidence. You won't find it.

Burden of Proof. Do you have any proof that Allah isn't real? Or Thor, Invisible Pink Unicorns, Ra, Celestial teapots, Flying Spaghetti Monster. You have made a positive claim (god exists), now prove it does otherwise it is idiotic to believe it.

as an atheist, i can't really show you "proof" that god doesn't exist, but at the same time, there's none showing that he does. that's why we always see this bantering back and forth...it's an opinion ONLY...one way or the other. but thats ok...because we can each believe what we want to!
