I think it is great. What more could I really say? It has permeated my soul, and I could no longer live without the gospel of Jesus Christ, than I could live without water.
I know what a lot of people think, and say, and feel, and that's cool, whether they are for or not for the Mormon church.
Keep on Truckin.

i began out to answer this the day ahead of this yet spent the whole night finding on the link you presented. my previous reproduction of Gospel strategies, and the internet link to the hot Gospel strategies (see link under) After 3 hours evaluating the ameliorations my take is that this. one million. i won't be ready to locate interior the previous instruction manual a number of the of the subjects you indexed as having replaced. I end from this that we are the two reading an analogous factor yet are understanding them in distinctive techniques. 2. a techniques and away, the main suitable selection and maximum noticeable modifications are substituting the actually words from scripture in selection to the paraphrase or inferred which means from the scripture which replaced into replaced. What you spot as a necessary replace, i don't see as a textile replace. (the modifications are immaterial, yet then i don't examine into the unique what you curiously examine) 3. It makes suited experience to me that the references to books that maximum folk does not have interior the past instruction manual could get replaced with a connection with an analogous quote in books that have been as lesson manuals for the final 9 years and could be heavily greater broadly attainable. those books did not exist while earlier guides of the Gospel strategies instruction manual replaced into being produced. 4. I be conscious that the faster version is copyright 1978, 1979, 1981, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1992, 1995, and 1997 this could point out numerous modifications over the final 32 years. i understand a instructor who, after making use of an earlier version wrote a letter to church headquarters in Salt Lake recommending some modifications. while yet another version replaced into printed all the techniques were used. That instructor advised me, "i could have fairly concept my techniques carried some weight, with the exception of one factor. I had under no circumstances mailed the letter. not one of the techniques this instructor pronounced have been modifications of doctrine, only modifications to help make sparkling and shop the concentration on the middle doctrine this is being taught.

I have no doubts that the LDS Church is the true, restored church on this earth, carrying with it divine priesthood authority to act in God's name for the many sacred ordinances performed within and without the temples of God.
I expected far more non-LDS responses other than the three or four thus received. Yet this question has been asked several times on this forum and one that has reached its pinnacle. For that reason I'd suspect the fewer responses given.

45 year old native american/ irish female. My views on spiriutality are earth based. I live with Mormons my whole life. I feel that the church leaders lives in a righteous bubble, while they rest of his troop practice racial, sexual, spousal abuse. In this cult men are the kingdom to God and they get honored for that right. Some of the old stories about Mormons runs true today, if you not Mormon especially in Utah your business won't run well, you can't get a good job etc.

I'm thinking about eating some lucky charms, but I'm guessing you want thoughts on the church. It's the true church. If you study and aske the Lord to confirm that, you will fee good inside and know it's true.

Thoughts- I agree- I'm positive that my opinion is biased... but religion is that way.
I've heard it said that there's two things that shouldn't be discussed in "polite company"... religion and politics. They're both very much a part of a person's sense of self- their beliefs. I don't know anyone who likes to be told they're wrong on either topic. Name-calling is just another way to verbally attack. All it does is accentuate the speaker's childishness. ("...years lost to nothing but a cult.")
To me, my religon and what I believe because of it are an intrinsic part of my perception of who and what I am.
When I was small, I learned a song that begins, "I am a child of God..." That's a very big part of what I see in the mirror every morning-- a daughter of God. He loves me, and knows I'm capable of great things, even when I doubt.
I truly stand all amazed at the love Father and Jesus offer me. And yes, I am confused at the grace They so willingly offer. Jesus suffered, bled and died for me- a sinner, an imperfect human being. I know I'm rebelious and prideful....
But They're still there, waiting for me to humble myself and submit to Their will... which I know will bring my ultimate happiness.

The Church is an attempt at creating heaven on earth. There have been rough spots and set backs, but the Church is moving forward. It teaches great morals and does a lot of good for the world at large.
The Church is not mainstream and probably never will be, but that's ok by me. The simplicity and symbolism in our worship services are masterful; each person learns at their own level.

I am a member and love it. And to speak to those above: every church can be considered a "cult". And a cult isn't really that bad. I love being a member and know with all my heart that it is where I should be!!
