Is there anyway of streaming downloads from my pc to my tv without the use of wires ? I'm fed up having to burn my dvds to disc before i can watch them on my tv. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm going to assume you want a wireless solution, not some magical way to transfer images with no connections ^_^.

The best way to stream from PC to TV is to have A PC connected directly to the TV. Basically you will be running two computers. I personally have a Shuttle PC with 500gb of storage with wifi and infrared controller.

There are other ways to stream videos directly to the tv, but the controls to pause, play, stop video will be on the computer. If it is in another room, this could be a little annoying. This requires a video output ard, and a wireless RGB or COAX transmitter. Newegg has video out cards and amazon has a wide selection of Wireless video Transmiters.

Search amazon.com for wireless transmitters
Search newegg.com for video out

XBOX 360 has this capability also, however it does not stream all forms of video files, most notably MKV. More information here. http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/Xbox360/video.html

Yes

Get a digital media receiver or digital media adaptor.
Check Netgear, Buffalo, Xbox (use it as an extender), etc.
