Did you mean to say one MORE reason that the bible is evil?

2007-06-29 09:52:57 · answer #1 · answered by Sun: supporting gay rights 7 · 1 3

You are not making sense. Divination is aword that was created after the bible event of what divination may represent.
So if you are referring to the fact that omens are evil and then also referring to the likes of the Umin and Thurim that moses posse used it would appear that that is evil.
But you Must take into consideration you are referring to a
word that holds alot of gray area in it's meanings.
True the bible states that men used stones in order to determine what God was saying, but that was not for the future as much as asking god for direct answers
The bible is VERY clear though that and prophet who makes a prophesy based upon anything other than God, is a false prophet.
Simply because the bible in later book s tells a story of the supposed future that is not DIVINATION>

Divination would be more like vodoo doctors who predict that a women will die because an egg cracked open runs with blood. that is divination.

The perversion of ones drives, is one answer to why human beings appreciate some thing that maximum folk do not. Of the team of black clad youths, i don't have self assurance they actually worship or have self assurance in devil, that selection is few and could be constrained to homicidal monomaniacs. they are on an identity quest and the 1st step of it fairly is to forged off the previous. it rather is unhappy fairly, all those human beings finding for some form of initiation ritual into grownup hood, having been born right into a society that has performed away with such. it rather is approximately some thing somewhat nasty, a coming to words with intercourse and loss of existence as grownup (you are able to desire to do the two, sorry). Black and crimson are literally the hues. the belief is going that men choose a kick up the *** to flow away the convenience of the youngster mentality. A painful initiation wherein they get their scar. it fairly is a genetic factor related to archetypes. besides, devil, The Horned God, Pan replaced into not constantly a undesirable guy. He replaced into the incumbent while Jehovah hit the scene so he grew to grow to be Saddam. interior the tarot he's purely a lesson to examine: that ones passions can lead you to the utmost of your pursuits or grow to be chains of habit reckoning on the shape you handle them. in all probability going of base right here. wish that enables.

Divination was not employed by true prophets of God or the ancient Israelites- it was created and used by the surrounding nations, such as Babylon and Egypt, as a means to predict or fortell the future of a person or the outcome of a battle.

Prophecy employed no use of idols, spells, talismans, potions or incantations such as divination did for the nations- it was "borne along by Holy Spirit."

Additionally, the results of divination were usually incorrect because they did not originate with God- not true of divine prophecy, which does not falter.

You know that I love you, IWF, but I am disappointed in this question and your attitude in it- you are usually witty and tolerant :0(

They are 2 different things.

Divination is trying to figure out the occult. By a method that involves other sources rather than God.

in the bible you will find many prophets and foretelling of events by the chosen ones of God.
It's very different when God speaks to you, than when you look for spirits to tell you answers of things that God doesn't want you to know.

The Bible is allowed to, because it's the bible.

Either that, or people seem to have a very warped idea of what divination really is...

**edit**

Alpha kenny; so God is evil? Surely he is, because he is foretelling the events?

My goodness, where do you ppl get these thoughts/ Man of man. Yes, future telling is evil, as only God knows the future. But, God can tell us enough about the future to use as our guideline in understanding prophecy and future events. In fact He tell s us He does this. God also will give messages of things to His true prophets, that will tell new things and warn, but noone knows the day or the hour that jesus wil come. Only God knows that. But, look up as it says He is coming SOON.
everything in the Bible is true and all good. But to rebel against the teachings of God is very evil, and you can mock God and His ppl all you want, truth is still truth, Jesus is still coming, and I know I will be with Him when He comes. Hope you are too.

--ITS THE SOURCE THAT makes it evil:
--THE BIBLE --Jehovah God is the source!

1. Ouji Board--from Satan
2. Divination " "
3. Calling on spirits Satan's
--HERE ARE THE BONIFIDE evils of Spriitsm and Satan as the source:(And these listed are not games, they are indeed heavy weoponry of Satan)
***(Deuteronomy 18:9-13) “. . .When you are entered into the land that Jehovah your God is giving you, you must not learn to do according to the detestable things of those nations. 10 There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, 11 or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. 12 For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you. 13 You should prove yourself faultless with Jehovah your God.”
**Have you an idea what some of these things were:
1. Sons thru the fire--Children , babies burned alive to Molech, Chemosh, Baals( worship spiritistic sadism)
--Israel practiced this evil!
2. Bind people with a spell--THIS WAS NOT medical hypnotism but demons possessing , entrancing , controlling people to do anything(very ramphant in Bible times, does happen occasionally in our time!
3. Calling on demons & their powers (READ history as to how these nations Babylon, Egypt, Assyria, wayward Israel, & many others , WERE sadistically involved in divination , spiritism with drugs and all the weird way one can contact Satan and his demons!
---MAKING LIGHT OF DIVINATION does not alter the power of the demons or are you stronger than they are?

--We are not talking about the silly spiritism shows of hollywood ---what Satan employs is the true to life diabolical perversion of spirit life THAT IS more powerful than any of the Star War special effects and anything hollywood can conjure up!

--THIS IS the warning , caution whatever you wish to call it , but it is stern(whether you wish to believe it or not , makes no difference):
(1 Corinthians 10:20-22) “. . .No; but I say that the things which the nations sacrifice they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want YOU to become sharers with the demons. 21 YOU cannot be drinking the cup of Jehovah and the cup of demons; YOU cannot be partaking of “the table of Jehovah” and the table of demons. 22 Or “are we inciting Jehovah to jealousy”? We are not stronger than he is, are we?”

--2 Cups(sources) One of Jehovah God the other of Satan
--2 Religions//True & False
--2 Governments//God's Kingdom & all human governments under Satan
--2 Businesses //honest & dishonest!
***ETC. ETC.
