I would suggest going to an orthopedist/orthopedic surgeon. They specialize in bones, ligaments, and tendons. They'll ask you a few questions, play around with your knee a bit, maybe take some x-rays, and develop a plan from there. Perhaps they'll put you in physical therapy, maybe do an MRI. It all just depends what they find. Definately see an orthopedist though... they'll hep you for sure. Good Luck!

See your family physician first. He'll probably have X-Rays taken then send you to a specialist of his choosing.
It will most likely be an orthopedic surgeon who'll then have MRI's if they warrant it. then he'll have an arthroscope taken.
They'll put you to sleep and put a needle in your knee in several spots, it'll have a small camera on the end, they'll look at the inside of your knee with this. If you have torn cartilage or need scraping, they'll do that through these openings.
You'll not feel any pain, a little discomfort, you probably won't even get any pain pills, there is little pain. Then you'll be on crutches for about four weeks.

We have treated 15 - 20 yrs cases.
There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine.
Acupuncture is the only way but our success in it is 50% and for others above 90%.
You can try hot pads, mud bandage at morning and/or evening.

I would suggest going to your family physician and having them referrer you onto another specialist to further treatment if needed. It will probably be an orthopedic doctor, but I would suggest at least getting a referral so you know that you would be going to a decent doctor.
