and forgiving... and this what Christians believe, then why do Christians hold a difference in religion against another damning them to hell?
My point being, if someone is raised in another part of the world...even here it doesn't matter... and they were raised of another faith, and they lived by standards and morals and were good and kind within society and their own personal circles.... if they lived in a Christian like way but not believing in Christ they were just of a different religion...
how can they persecute them for something they know nothing of?
Is that God like, is that not judging someone?

i agree that we as christians should not judge..but yes we do make the mistake of doing so because we go by what the bible says...and it does clearly say..that if a person does not accept God through Jesus they will go to hell..
Now mind you I'm not judging anyone..Im only saying what ive read and been taught..
But you are right. Actual Judging should be left to God.

Still since we all are human we do make mistakes.
The different between real christians..and christians who are just overzealous.

real christians can admit when they are wrong and ask for forgiveness both from whom they have offended..and from God.

Overzealous christians? can never admit they are wrong.

But please do not make the mistake of thinking that since God is supposed to be all loving it would be impossible for his followers to not be like Him.
If you do..you will sometimes be very disappointed.

think of it this way..

" God..you know i love you..but I really cant stand your wife"

I've never persecuted anyone. But I have always shot straight at the hip where God's Word is concerned. God doesn't mince His Words when He speaks of sin and judgement. He commands us, as His children to "Go and tell the nations." We are His voice to witness of Him and we are accountable for the blood of others that He has placed in our paths (ezekiel 33). So non-believer's whine that our warnings are persecuting them. But you know what? I don't care because they need to know the Truth regardless of whether they ever accept it. People think because they aren't murderer's and have good morals that that makes them "good." But as we see in God's Word, there is none good but one, that is, God
( Matthew 19:17). And if all it took was people living morally correct than why did Jesus sacrifice His life so that we can have Eternal life? Because being a Christian is sooo much more than outer works, God looks on the heart. And if you are found not covered in the blood of Jesus by receiving Salvation you have zero hope of inheriting heaven regardless of how faithful and kind one is in their "faith/religion." So knowing this, there is an eternal difference in Christianity and other man-made religions. We should pray for and love everyone. But, in my life, if it comes between my obedience to Jesus and another's anti-God beliefs...Jesus will win every time! Not because I'm damning others. But because I love Jesus I choose life not death choices.

How are Christians persecuting others?
However Christ commanded believers to proclaim the Gospel.
He Himself said "He that believes and is baptized will be saved. He that believes not will be condemned." Mark 16:16

He didn't die on a cross to save men from Hell only now to cruelly cast them into Hell.
The testimony of God is, all have sinned and strayed far from God's acceptable standard. Jesus said "That which is highly regarded by men is disgusting in the sight of God." (Luke 16:15)
Men go to Hell because that is what they deserve.
The Good News is that God meted out upon His Son the Lord Jesus Christ what sinners deserve so if they repent and believe God will not enter into judgment with them. If someone truly never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel, God will deal with them in perfect justice, and judge them according to their own standards. However the simple facts is that no one lives up to their perceived standard of what is right and wrong. All men are sinners. What about you?
How will you be saved? But if you say you don't need a Savior, then you insult God and say in effect He allowed His Son to be tortured to death on a cross unnecessarily

I don't know about other Christian religions, but Catholics don't believe that people are going to hell just because they're of a different religion. The state of your soul is between you and God. We believe that following Catholic beliefs makes it easiest to get to heaven, because they are very clear-cut if you trouble yourself to learn enough about them. But if you were raised in a non-Christian religion, sincerely believe it, and follow it to the best of your ability, then you're most likely not going to be damned. (I say "most likely" because no one really knows, absolutely positively and certainly, who is saved and who is not- only God knows that, because we as fellow human beings can't pass judgment, good or bad, on another person's soul.)

Pope John Paul II greatly admired Gandhi, a Hindu, and praised his "deeply evangelical manner." If one of the greatest Catholics of the century spoke of a non-Christian as JPII spoke of Gandhi, I think it is safe to say that Catholicism, at least, does not condemn non-Christians on principle.

You can't earn salvation by good works. Salvation comes from acceptance of Jesus Christ. Without accepting him we are condemned to hell, no matter how "good" (by our own standards) we feel we are. Scripture makes it clear that "he that beleveth no shall be condemned."

A lot of questions, I see where you are going.....yes, they would be just as likely to reach "heaven" as it were the formal Christians. I agree!

Yeah, a lot of them seem to have trouble with that whole "judge not, lest ye be judged" part.

You're right, of course, in a way. I wasn't aware of any persecution though.
