I think it is a very noble quest. I hope that along the way to finding your home group you meet lots of nice people and little resistance. I know, I know.....the madam is a dreamer on that last bit....but dream and wish, I will.....;-)

I must question your agnosticism if you also call yourself a theist.

However...

I do not think it makes you crazy, but I'm not sure why you would choose a religion because it "feels right." If you're going to do something for the sake of it feeling right, then just go with your own beliefs, not religion. Research them if you will, but why join them? Also, why join religion in the first place? You will likely encounter claims that cannot be proven or assertions that you yourself do not accept. Do not let religion dictate to you what you should think and feel.

So I guess the answer is no, but instead of joining one, research them and piece together what you can understand to be the truth. There is not enough time to thoroughly study every religion and understand its tenets, history, members, etc, so after you realize what it is you know, allow your life experiences to show you the rest.

Yes, but probabely to say you are crazy will be wrong thing.
Every human being is born to his parents..and the last verdict is if you were born in a christian family you are a christian...and so does Hindu if you were born in a Hindu family.
But my dear let me tell you , only the religion changes...the lesson from every religion is same. But it is delivered in a different language.
So better say you are searching for a easy language that you might feel right for you to understand the religion.

No, that's totally what you should be doing!

In fact, that's one of the main principles of my religion (I'm a Unitarian Universalist): everyone needs/has the right to search for what beliefs they feel are true and feel right to them.
So go for it! Keep searching until you find the one that's right! Good luck!

I think that's the best thing a person could do. It's far better than choosing a religion that you don't believe in or doesn't feel right to you.
Good luck and blessings

It's perfectly normal to search and want to learn about other religions and of course in that search you may find what you've been looking for.

No, I do not feel that way because it is necessary to feel right about what is right for you. It is a matter of introspection which is part and parcel of a successful journey .
