Creationism: Can Scientists be biblical theists?

The belief underlying creation is theism, especially biblical theism. Theism is the world view that sees infinite personal spirit as the source of all reality. The Biblical theist believes that the infinite-personal Creator of all things has revealed truth about creation in the Bible. A Scientist who is a biblical theists will naturally approach scientific research with a view to understanding more about the creator's handiwork. He will expect his results to agree with his faith, to fit into the framework of the Biblical record of creation. Herein is where science and faith come together in understanding the origin of life by the hand of God.

Scientists can be Biblical Theists (That would make them Christians.). In fact, those that are have done some of the finest work around to expose the shortcomings in Darwin's Theory of Evolution.

Most denounce it as "bad science" due to the subjective nature of the interpretation of the "evidence."

Interesting too, that the Bible supports good science, while evolutionists reject the Biblical record.

All the scientists I've known have been atheists or agnostics. Not fundamentalist Christians. Sorry.

The idea that all answers are in the Bible and that questions of God's authority are blasphemous and should be stopped kind of interferes with the basic curiosity that leads someone to be a scientist, I would think. They tend to look for questions, not easy answers.
