I do!
It will not happen in my lifetime or my children's.
NO to the North American Union
Just like that horrible bill they tried to slip through, it is not going to happen.

Schaufel: instead of battling a corrupt government we would be fighting several corrupt governments.
Imagine all the drugs that would pour in if Mexicans could pass our borders whenever?

It's kind of scary because had it not been for Y!A I would never have heard about the NAU and have wondered how such a major undertaking has simply escaped the notice of so many people. But then when you see how underhanded and manipulating our government can be, and look at the motivation that is behind this and how this all fits together like a big puzzle, one piece connecting to the other, and slowly but surely our personal rights and freedoms being chipped away at by the ruling "elite" members who make these decisions for us without any input or approval from the ones it's "supposedly" going to benefit??? Scary, yes indeed.

A North American Union will give American companies the LEGAL protection they need to take over Mexico economically. It's a good thing for America. It spreads our relatively corrupt-free society into Mexico and lessens the need for them to come here for work.

Only if they will inform themselves of the issues & then take action. In other words, probably not. It's too easy to listen to the television & radio & let someone else do their thinking for them.

It can be stopped... at our own peril.
The truth is that globalization is a fact. It's happening and it is a good thing. Barriers to such globalization are bad... they make life more expensive, and difficult for average Americans. Tearing down those barriers, and engaging in free trade is a good thing for the United States, raising more barriers is a bad thing.
The European Union is a shining example of the good that can happen when jelous nations put aside their arbitrary differences and come together in a union. The economy of europe is expanding, and soon it may rival the United States. By continuing on a "fortress America" mentality we will for certain be left behind by more foreward thinking nations, and you will see a decline in the power of America.
The time of protectionism, tarrifs, and barriers to the freeflow of people and ideas is in the past. If we cling to such archaic ideas, we too will be left in that past.

Well you have two choices:
vote against it or take up arms against it
Personally, I don't think it is going to get too far before hostilities commence.
