They called me...one phone interview went very well--even scored a f2f that day. I sent dates of availablity the same day and no call backs...it's been over 48 hours. I don't get that! (and yes, I DID follow up)

That means they found someone they interviewed to be better than you.

Or maybe the next interviewer is not yet available.

Is is a good job? Probably, or you wouldnt have applied, they feel the same way. You were lucky enough to get the f2f that day, but a company doesnt make money by just hiring the first person that comes through the door. Expect for them to see a minimum of 5 people before making a choice, I have seen employers see as many as twenty for one spot. Good to see you followed up dont just email after your third day call in and talk to the person you first interviewed with. Good luck!

48 hours is not abnormal. No response in a week and it is time to get concerned. Likely issue: next week there is a major holiday in the U.S. and the person who will interview you may be taking some/all of the week off.

Suggest you keep pursuing all options but don't get to flustered about the lack of a timely response. Your 1st interview went well and your gut reaction is probably spot on. Good luck!

i'd call them previous due on the 2cnd day- they could be interviewing distinctive human beings and then checking over the resumes- so do not enable them to forget approximately approximately you! there's not something flawed with you calling them or combating by ability of ability of, it purely exhibits which you're very fascinated interior the job! purely suitable success!!

I've had prospective employers contact me months Some employers take a long time choosing their new hirees. Just relax and keep looking until you get that job offer.

They might have to fired somebody before they hire you. Wait. Give them one more week.
