Singing is a natural ability, although with voice training and good breathing it can be improved upon, but at the end of the day if you are tone deaf then there's no hope....

Questions to Ask Yourself:
1.) Do you sit/stand up straight?
2.) Do you keep your rib cage up by inhaling while your singing?
3.) Do you sing from your lungs and not your throat?
4.) Do you try to change your voice to sound like the singer? (Don't)
5.) Do you play an instrument?

These are the makings of a good singer, it gives you experience and more talent... most singing coaches teach you how to use your body as an instrument. Maybe you should look in your phone book for a good singing coach.

Good Luck!

Everyone can learn to sing, but you won't be able to sing like others.

You have an individual voice. It's like a diamond in the rough. Just need to refine it.
You can try going to a local class for vocals in order to refine your voice.

You can also find a Vocal trainer, which can give you better pitch, volume, and breathing.

But don't expect to be perfect, some people just aren't born with the proper vocal chords.

I reccomend singing lessons. I had a friend who had a hard time singing well, but she's vastly improved and has a good voice now. Check around in your area and see if anyone local offers lessons. If you want to sing, and you set your mind on it, I bet you can make it happen. Good luck!

If you take voice lessons they can train your voice. There is a possibility you will be able to sing very very well. Paul Green School of Rock Music is very good at that but they expect you to sing fairly well. if you are interested go to schoolofrock.com!

As long as you're willing, you should be able to improve. The only people who can't sing are those who refuse to try and better themselves.
I would say that if you start seeing a vocal coach, or even just going off of things on the internet, you should be better off. :]

You can practice to get better, but some people will never be good. Like any talent, not every person has the ability.
