I met with this guy about more than year ago while he was spending his vacation with his father's family in my country Palestine. He is an American (his father is originally Palestinian).
We got engaged and signed the marraige contract as he said it is to make the process of getting my visa to the US faster.
Later, he returned to the US and after only two months he decided to break up, he said he did not have the time for me because of life business (he is a doctor). I experienced a very bad time and it took long time to break the contract which made things worse.
I admit I still love him and I couldn't forget him though the pain I still feel in my heart.
Now, I have just found an email from him telling me he is sorry for what he made me experience and that he wish he come back again to see my smile!!
What do you think??? how does it sound to you?

Proceed with caution. Hear him out. Listen to what he has to say as if you were someone else and it's your sister, or mom or some other female in your family he wanting to get back with. What I mean is, be objective. Don't let your heart rule your head. Did he contact you at all during the time he was getting his life business together?
Don't let this guy bamboozle you into believing everything he says. He messed up and now he should have to work 10 times as hard to get back into your good graces. Let him know in no uncertain terms that he hurt you and that if you are going to have a relationship with him,(if that's what he wants) you can't always be second or third or fourth in his life.
Yes, being a doctor can take up a lot of time, but to just dump you....that just stinks!

Wow, I am very sorry to hear. The only thing I can tell you is to talk to him. Communication is very important in relationships and if you still want to be with him then go for it. Good luck.

I would hear him out. I would talk to him personally and see if he sounded truly sorry. Could be that he's sincere and you would live happily ever after. Good luck!

Well, maybe he is having second thoughts. You'll never know unless you give him anohterchance. One chance. That's it.
Anybody canmake a mistake. But don't let someone be careless with your heart.
