It depends upon what is wrong with your eyes. No supplements etc will change the need to wear glasses or prevent needing glasses. For many eye diseases, they make no difference either.

For some selected cases of age related macular degeneration, there is a specific supplement that can slow progression of the condition. For some cases of dry eye, Flax Seed Oil supplements may help. Your eye doctor will inform you if you have those conditions.

In general, "natural" things that you can do to protect your eyes include eating a healthy diet high in fruits and vegetables and low in fat and protein (follow Canada's Food Guide or the USA food guide); wearing sunglasses outdoors and, most important of all, don't smoke. Smoking increases the risk and severity of virtually all eye diseases.
