TRIA (Terrorism Insurance act) was mandated by congress after 911, It is the requirement to all Insurance carriers to offer terrorism coverage. It can be rejected however by the consumer.

Most business policies, Workers comp and liability policies surcharge for this but you can reject it.

Just remember that their is a fine line between Vandalism and terrorism. Vandalism is covered. However, if it is terrorism it must be with out any doubt. If you see some one with a ski mask and carrying a AK47 then it "could be terroism." or a vandal acting like one.

Well, what kind of terrorism protection are you LOOKING for? Fire? Life insurance? Unemployment insurance? Any basic insurance product can have a 'terrorism' rider on it - although most of the time it's not needed. Fire coverage is going to cover fire, regardless of the cause.
