I have shoulder length hair, and it is driving me nuts...i am wanting to try long hair but if i do all i am going to do is curl it and go, i like shorter hair cus its easy for me to fix... and i can fix it many differnet ways. right now i either ware it in a clip or in a ponytail cuz it will not do anything this length!!! HELP...what should i do?

rusti, you're really lucky. you've got a face that looks absolutely gorgeous with short hair, AND you've got the type of hair that's full and fluffy even when it's short. i've always thought that short hair was more creative/spunky and could allow you to show more character than just plain old long hair.
long hair is elegant, and despite all you can do with it (braid, clip it up, pigtails, etc.), you really can't DO anything with it. it just sits there. but when it's short, it's lighter and just looks better. it draws more attention to your face. maybe it's cuz i'm used to seeing u with short hair, but for some reason i feel that it's more YOU than long hair would be. but since you're growing your hair out for heck's sake, i think it would look beautiful just past shoulder-length and layered to frame your face........december 12th isn't THAT far away! just really REALLY think about what you want to do, and then do it! and maybe this site will help a little:

It sounds like you prefer short hair as its easier to manage. I just let mine grow and after about 3 or 4 months when its getting in my eyes I go to the barber and ask him for a number four. Mind you I'm not that interested in my hair.

Cut it off if you don't like it. It is not worth the trouble growing it long if you like short hair

Well if you like your hair short then you should cut it. And then if you get bored with it being short let it grow out again.

depends on what you want to do with it. if you like curling it, i would go with long hair. if you like straightening it, and doing styles that are less pretty and more punky, go shorter. pretty styles are generally longer, but can be short too. punky, stick with short.

m 89, Please hon, don"t cut your hair ! With long hair you can braid it or put it in a ponytail and even put it up in a hairdo ! Look like a lady !

trim it a little bit frequintly. it will grow really fast. then you will get long hair.
