Hello!
We experience the same thing....what has worked is limiting our son's liquid intake after 7pm and making sure he uses the potty twice before bed...which is between 8:30-9pm.
Good luck!!

There could be several things to cause it. It's a process of elimination.
Did something recently change in his world? (Loss of a family member or pet, or a friend moving, or a new sibling or new school) Sometimes, that's how kids react to stress.
Does he drink any fluids after dinner? Try limiting drinks after 7pm or so, and make sure he at least tries to go before bed.
He could be hitting a growth spurt and his bladder may not have caught up yet. This is more common than you think. In which case, try waking him up right before you go to bed or sometime in the middle of the night to go. Otherwise, there are other remedies. Speak to his doctor as to which one suits your and his needs best.

I suspect that something has changed at home or school/daycare that is causing stress. Talk to your child, not about the bedwetting, but about the source of the stress. But don't expect too many answers there, so you'll have to investigate. If home is calm - no parental fights, etc. - then I would talk to the teacher/caregiver and see if there is stress there; maybe a new student or a child being a bully or a new teacher. There might be new kid or problem in the neighborhood, too.
If all else fails, he's not too young for counseling.

It could be stress related. Talk to your son and see if there is anything going on that you should be aware of. Wetting the bed like your son is doing is a sign of sexual abuse. Look into what's going on with him. There is a reason.

With some kids, there's not much you can do. Stress can be one thing, as well as drinking too soon before bed. Some kids, though, have that problem because their bladder develops at a different rate (slower) than the rest of their bodies. It's like their brain doesn't get or deliver the message "get up, you have to pee!". Their bodies kind of get "out of sync", and they will just grow out of it.

One never really knows what causes children to revert...
Buy a waterproof ver for now and have a talk with him. Try to find out is going on with him.
