I typically don't do much short of showing the new kitty where the food/water and litter boxes are and I watch to be sure the cat(s) that already live there don't attack it, but I used to volunteer for an animal shelter and they suggested the following tips on introducing 2 kitties...
Because they are both so young, you probably won't have any trouble, but the best way to acclimate them to each other is to keep them separate for a few days. Set the new kitty up in its own room. Let her lay on a blanket or towel and on the 2nd day, let the male cat sniff the blanket and take something he has laid on to the female cat. This will introduce them to each others' scents (but believe me, they will already know the other is there). After a little while let them sniff each other under the door. You can also have them switch rooms. By the 3rd day, you should be able to introduce them to each other, but make sure you stand prepared in case one attacks the other. If they do, separate them again.for a little while longer and go back to letting them sniff each other under the door. Try re-introducing them again in a few hours.
Just be calm and soothing and make sure your male kitty still gets your attention and they should be fine!
Good luck!!

Most cats will eventually get along, but it's crucial that they are introduced *slowly*. With dogs, you can throw them both in a room, they sniff each other, then they're friends. Cats are more particular about their boundaries and personal space.
Ideally, if you have the space for this (and the patience), you would put them in separate rooms that are not adjoining. After several hours, switch them so they can smell each other's scent, but don't let them see each other yet.
If this goes well, the next day, put them in adjoining rooms so they can see each other under a door. Hopefully they'll be curious, poking at each other playfully. A little hissing/growling at first may be ok, but if either cat seems extremely agitated, go back a step to unadjoining rooms.
If it went well, then the next day put them in the same room together and see what happens. If they seem ok, as in smelling each other, playing, even rough playing, keep an eye on them for a while before letting them be together unsupervised. If you see agitation, hair standing up, constant growling/hissing, separate them again.
Good luck, and enjoy! :)

I find if you are only integrating 2 cats it will work itself out. Two Males are ideal. Male/female have heir own dynamics. (usually the girl is the boss...)Two female cat households work but I have noticed they are usually not in the same room and/or only are together if the humans are a direct cause (i.e. just got home, food on the table, cat food bag shaking etc)
The younger the better, too! Also, you never know what behavior they learned in the shelter/former home. Like people, all cats are different...enjoy the new furry members of your family!

I think it depends on the cats themselves. I own four cats and three of them get along exceptionally well. The fourth addition is not popular with any other the others apart from the elder boy. Try and bring them closer together through interactive play.

They should get along fine, especially since you are introducing them at a younger age. We've always had 2 or more cats that we got at different times and have never had any problems with them getting along.

I can almost garuntee that the cats wont get along at first - they will probablly hate eachother in fact. It will take a few weeks for them to get along but they will probablly like eachother eventually. Good Luck

Pretty good, if they are introduced right. Keep in mind that there will be hissing and spatting: After all, cats are territorial creatures. But that should be the worst of it.
