I know you trust your wife but you aren't 100% sure its your baby. Don't always believe what othery people say, especially if you have proof like your baby being dark skinned and you white. I recommend you to go get the test done because that is the only way you are really going to know for sure if the baby is yours and if your wife cheated on you. You don't lose anything by getting the test done and you will finally get answer to your question because it isn't good living with a doubt.

I'd hate to be suspicious too but you might want to get that test (I hate to sound all Maury Povich).
However, there is a crazy chance that one of you (or both of you) had a black ancestor or more than one and those genes for increased melanin are showing up again. It can happen, its just quite unlikely.

One possibility that hasn't been mentioned is that there could have been a mistake at the hospital side. Hospitals have been known to send parents home with the wrong baby. Laugh all you want but it's happened.

If you accept the child as your own, you are fine.
If you are suspicious and worried about it, get a DNA paternity test done.

there was a couple that this happened to in the town where i live they had dna it turned out that one of them had black relatives way back in there family.
