actually we are going through the same sitiation! i need to get either two or three teeth pulled in order to get my braces! from what my friends tell me, it doesn't hurt at all. they say it just get's weird at sometimes because some blood goes in your mouth and because your mouth is so numb there is no way to prevent it from swalowing it... i know, ewww, but one's that is all over and you get your braces off it will SO be worth it! Good luck! :D

Two on the top and two on the bottom. Medium sized mollers. This helps if you have more teeth than mouth so the braces have room to move the remaining teeth around.

All dental work is uncomfortable while you're in the middle of it but in the long run it saves you future problems and pain.

Good Luck!

It does not hurt to get teeth pulled, when i got some of mine pulled, i didn't even feel a thing, it was all numb and everything, didn't even know that he pulled it out, or even that he was touching it.But i like the numb feeling, its kewl, and yes, sometimes, you do need to get some teeth removed when getting braces if you don't have all your full grown teeth, (i still don't)

Yup. One of the girls in my gymnastic class had to get a bunch of teeth pulled before getting braces. I don't think it's that uncommon.

i had to get 3 teeth extracted. two on top and one on the bottom right. i already had the other matching tooth pulled out years ago on the bottom left.

Yeah, had 4 extracted. Really nothing to be worried about, although that is easier said than done.

lots of people have that done, nothing to worry about. it will hurt but you should be given some pain meds to help out with that.
