How much should I give a babysitter watching a 10m old and a 21m old that will prob be asleep the whole time we are gone? Watching from about 6-11pm or 12am? I will be providing transportation home also

How old is your sitter? A 16 year old should get a little more per hour than a 13 year old. (Simply because they have more expenses in general)

How much do you expect your sitter to do? Do you want them to empty the dishwasher or tidy up the toys, or will they pretty much just have to hang out and watch tv the whole time? If you expect them to do some kind of chores, I'd give 'em a couple of bucks more than just sitting there watching TV.

If you have a 13 year old who's just there to have someone there, $4-5 an hour is fair. If your sitter is 16 years old and is going to be picking up all the toys the kids left and washing the kids' dinner dishes, then offer $6 or $7 an hour.

Under age 18 $3-5 dollars an hour- over age 18 $8-10+ dollars an hour... I'd go with the lower end since the children will already be asleep... You might want to ask your babysitter what her rates are though because she may have something else in mind!

(This is what I charged years ago and I find it's still a fairly decent going rate...)

Best Wishes!

It depends where you live. When I used to live in a more rural area, I was paid 4-6 dollars an hour (pay is the same whether your kids are awake or asleep). Now that I live in a suburb of Chicago, I make 10-14 dollars an hour depending on how wealthy the suburb is. The better you pay your sitters, the more likely they will be to return. Best of luck!

5-6 hours and two infants is probably about 40 dollars..
My mother and I run a daycare and charge 150, 5 days a week 4-6 hours a day for infants. So i'd say one night with transportation 30-40..

I normally get paid 5-8 $ an hour, depending on the kids age and personality. I would give your sitter about 5$ per hour if she's younger than 14, if she's older maybe 6 or 7$ an hour.

I watched children for awhile while I was pregnant, and honestly it depends on the circumstances but I would say a general amoutn of at least $15.00/night.
If they stay full-time (4-5 days a week) you are still getting by with only $60-75/week!! that's very reasonable for what a normal daycare charges.

I used to babysit and I would charge 20 if I had to get the kids myself, and only 15 if I had transportation provided. Plus the children will be sleeping, so I would definitely do with $15.

I would usually get $100 for that, but I only babysit a 7 year old boy.

I would say about $50 for this job though, because she doesn't really need to do any work.

Absolute minimum $30, more if you want to cultivate a good relationship with a babysitter who could become a regular for you.
