Any nature to be seen in New York? I may be heading that way on a trip with my wife and know I will want to avoid the city.

dude there's tons TONS of nature in upstate NY plenty of places to camp fish hunt etc... can't really give you much details as I don't know where you're headed and upstate outside of the city is a very big region.

Wait are we talking just outside the city cause then not so much?

Baseball's Hall of Fame Cooperstown is in upstate New York. Not too far from the Finger Lakes region. There you have five huge lakes, right next to the city of Itacha, home of the ivy league school Cornell.

Dude, New York State is huge. Narrow it down.

Lake George is a beautiful area to visit in New York.

There's plenty of nature. bold eagles, on the Hudson. And lots more.
