ok... i am a little on the chubby(not overweight) side..... is it true that guys dont like that and are only attracted to the skinny type???? also, is a "confident, kinda smart(not too smart), christian" girl attractive or does a girl have to be the "cheerleader, dumb, dont care about stuff" kinda girl????

OK, I did not enlarge your Av to assess your "attractiveness" but for me, the scrawny/fragile type is not appealing. My GF has nice curves and real hips - she's a woman. She's also smart and funny and confident. I go insane dealing with idiots, so no, the dumb cheerleader type is not appealing. I am pushing 40 (egad, I am getting old) and this has always been my general perspective. I'm just glad I found my one true love and don't have to worry about superficial stuff anymore.
Nevertheless, it boils down to personal preference and some guys are only going to "want" the ultra-thin or athletic types. If I wanted someone with no chest, hips or butt, I'd just look in the mirror.

Hey, i'm not a guy..i'm a girl..well duh..if i'm not a guy...but anyway...u sound just like me a few years ago..i was under the impression that guys only like pretty, skinny, popular girls...NOT TRUE...let me tell u something...there is someone ...usually more than one person out there for everyone..u might not have found them yet...just give it time..and in the meanwhile, get comfortable with yourself..you should take pride in the fact that you are your own person and that there are plenty of people who appricaite you. I noticed that u descibed yourself as a christian girl. There are millions of guys that value christian beliefs over the dumb cheer leader type of girl. My guess is that ur prolly between the age of 11 and 14..which means guys have yet to figure out what they like in girls..and girls have yet to figure out who they are..work on that..and in time you will find someone who is perfect for you..i hope this helps!

I honestly don't like super-skinny women. I think shallow guys gravatate towards the skinny blonde cheerleader. I like a girl who keeps me on my toes intellectually, but am a little embarrassed when the girl's out and out super-smarter than me. I'd say most guys are, but a dumb girl doesn't interest me. My wife is has a slighlty higher IQ than me, but I'm more creative so we balance each other well.

No a girl doesn't have to be a "cheerleader, dumb, don't care..." kind of person. I've dated a wide variety of girls from supermodel skinny to girls that were heavier than I am. The biggest thing for me was that they were intelligent, confident, and fun. They were comfortable with themselves, and that makes all the difference.

omigosh! no im no guy but i know this answer! guys go for the easy bimbo chicks first because they are to lazy to actually reach for the good girls! i have soo been there! im a girl whos (not to brag im saying this in a non bragging way) pretty and Blonde but im also smart and when it comes to guys and them registering that in their heads they think that it equals a stupid girl. but im not so ive dealt with many jerks. but eventually the guys mature a little more... out of high school! LOL and then theyll notice more than appearance! guys are total jerks! if you base your appearance around them youll never find a true guy to love you for you! be confident! you sound like a really nice girl whos insecure about her weight but really when it comes down to it, personality always wins!

i like girls who are on the slender side, but who are a little curvy. but i dont like chubby girls at all. confident and smart is a plus. i dont like dumb girls. and i hate girls who are clueless and make careless mistakes. nothing is more of a turnoff than a girl who doesnt know whats up in life. and nothing is more of a turnoff than a girl who doesnt know how to have good meaningful conversations.

I love music,too ! No dear alot of guys would raher have a normal girl than a "twiggy"! Again alot of guys would rather have a normal girl than a ditzy cheerleader !
