This isn't at all what you are talking about but it is a pretty nifty cat age website. check out http://www.catage.com You put in your cat's info and at the end it will tell you how old your cat is. For example it will say: Your cat is 2 years and 8 months old however based on the factors provided your catage is 1 year 10 months. So basically your 2.8 year old cat is as healthy as a 1.10 year old cat. Make sense? Fill it out, it's fun. You can also do dogage.com for dogs and realage.com for humans.

Actually, I heard on TV recently that the experts estimate that the first year of a dog's life is equivalent to twenty years in human life since it includes "puberty" and such. After that, each year is like 6 in human years. It's probably the same for cats.

Here is the formula:
The first six months of a cat's life equals 13 years
The second six months equals 8 years
Therefore the first year equals 21 human years
The second cat year equals 10 human years
Each subsequent year equals 3 human years
So if your cat is 15 years old in human years, then your cat is 70 years old in in cat years.

Actually, I think you have those turned around. One year for a dog is seven years for a human. That's why we live so much longer. And I don't know about cats.

most cats outlive dogs. also, the nine lives theory seems to play into it as well for some unknown reason too.
