Eat ALOT of vegetables and fruit. This starts to shed the fat cells.but maintain chicken and beef AND seafood(not fried) Try to limit soda to (1) soda 6oz..twice a week.I know that is the hardest part.If you eat cake or sweets, half the portion BEFORE 8pm LOSE the BREAD!!! This should only be eaten 1-2 times a day THATS IT!!American eat bread at every meal..No good. Drink water with lemon..(lemon Wedge).this speeds up the metabolism 4 times day(6oz).
Now there are ways to "fat burn" but steer clear they cause heart problems and mental distress.I f you want a natural way search chromium picolinate. A natural mineral sold at all stores, found in your body to survivie. Men make more of this mineral than women...that;s why they r so cut and tone.we produce less of this mineral..Different bodies respond to this mineral positive or dont work at all...that's the con.For the last thing but not least..get up & walk for 15-20 min A DAY. if you dont walk or run you dont tone...u shrivel like an old prune. NOW LOSE THAT WEIGHT AND SHAPE UP...GOOD LUCK!!!YES you can lose this weight by March

Honestly she's going to have to make a MAJOR i mean MAJOR life style change. That's where you can step in. She's going to have to face the fact the the diet fads aren't going to work. She's going to have to do it the only way it's scientifically been proved to work for the majority of people. Diet and excersize. You could wake her up every morning and motivate her to take walks for 45 mins. This will burn calories and make her metabolism higher so she'll burn more calories througout the day when she's just sitting. You're going to have to have her change her diet as well. NO MORE FAST FOOD. and I mean come on, eating healthy is easy. Everyone knows what's healthy and what isn't. Eat more fruits veggies and whole grains then fatty meats and NEVER EAT FRIED FOODS OR DESSERTS unless it's her birthday. Subway is an awesome place to eat if you want to lose weight but you still have to eat out. Only order a six inch and don't get any sauces unless it's fat free. Tons of veggies as well. Wendys is another really easy fast food place to eat healthy and it's cheap. You can order the yogurt orange slices and a water for 3 bucks. If you get a salad don't eat it with dressing and if she must, eat the fat free. Hope this helps her.

If she weighs 300 pounds, then she needs to go to the doctor to get a thourough check up before she starts any kind of serious diet/exercise program. That kind of weight puts incredible strain on the joints and heart, so she should make sure that all is okay. Also, she should try to lose max 1.5 lbs per week, any faster and she could get gallstones or start having other problems. If she wants to start before she sees a doctor, then I suggest that she starts walking for short distances, at a slow to medium pace, and doing simple strength training exercises to help raise her Base Metabolic Rate.
As far as speeding things up, I don't think that there is a "magic bullet".

I helped a friend lose 100. Well 80. He was 380 and know he's 300. Start by walking. No soda, no fast food, no simple carbs. (pasta, white bread) Eat wheat bread, whole grain items. Nothing with high fructose corn syrup in the first 5 ingredients. Walk 30 min a day for 2 weeks, then add on 5 min every week.

It depends on the person, the program, and the person's discipline. It can happen by next March. It could take years. "Secrets" for speeding it up can be very dangerous, though. I highly recommend that your sister starts with her doctor and goes from there. A doctor will be able to recommend something that will work best for your sister and her personal health situation. Losing 100 pounds would be great... but it can also be dangerous if done improperly. Good luck!

Aboslutely possible. She could lop off a leg... j/k.

She would need to change her whole way of life. She would have to be active everyday. House work and yard work even count but she should do a walk everyday and eventually start riding a bike or jogging. Swimming is also great excercise.

Diet wise should would have to count calories. Eat about 1200-1500 a day. No more sweets. I would say fresh fruit or at the very least canned fruits. Mornings she would need to eat eggs or other protein like chicken or beef.

She will start feeling great within the first week.

You can reasonably expect to lose 1.5 to 2.5 pounds per week with real and consistent effort - the heavier you start at, the more you can expect to lose at the beginning.

So she loses 2.5 pounds per week starting right now, she could conceivably lose 100 in the next 40 weeks, or by the beginning of next April.

There's only one way to achieve this: exercise a lot more and eat a lot less. Probably the best thing to do would be for her to get up an hour earlier and go for a walk. She might not be able to even walk 1/2 mile at first if she's really out of shape, but she should be able to work up to at least a 3 mile walk per day - eventually she'll be able to work up to a jog. Her caloric intake must be below her basal metabolic requirement. If, for example, she needs 2,000 calories per day to maintain her current weight, she'll need to something significantly less than that per day.

Each pound to lose represents 3,500 calories - either by eating less or exercising more. There's no long term shortcut. It can be done - but she'll have to keep at it with a lot of effort. Maybe you can help encourage her - wish her luck for me.

She has approx. 39 weeks which divided into 100 pounds is slightly over 2.5 pounds per week. If she follows a diet plan and exercises this would be possible. I would join a diet club or support group. I know Herbalife dealers have quarterly contests and you don't need to use their products to join. However, some of their products are pretty good.

I hope what ever she does she learns what to eat, how to eat and stays a health course.

Good Luck

There's always a crack diet, but it eats your face away as fast as it eats fat!

I would say look up how to lose water weight first. That is usually all those diets that claim to make you lose 10 lbs overnight. It's only water weight coming off. So if you are in a hurry find out how to lose water weight, then go from there for the long term.

Well, its difficult to tell if she can just drop that weight all at once, but i think that its sure possible to lose those extra lbs, BUT, she's gonna have 2 work really hard. that means, no more (or very VERY lil) junk food, tons of working out, things like running, and long bike rides and other sporty things, and keep a healthy, nutritious diet. she'll prbly b grumpy a ton, bcause it seems like thats how ppl on diets r. but, it wuld b xtra sweet of u 2 help keep her accountable, and watch to make sure she doesnt sneek junk, and that she stays on task. if she really really wants 2 lose the weight, shes gonna have 2 strive very very hard, and keep herself on track all the time. of course shes gonna slip and screw up, but the point is, she needs 2 get bck up, dust herself off and start over. good luck 2 her! and good luck 2 u 2!
