Oooo...I think my cake is the best part. :) I love it. My cake is 3 tiers, plain white frosting. with a ribbon around the bottom of each tier. The ribbon will be blue on the top and bottom and silver in the middle. The cake topper is silver as well. But the flavor...yum. It is a while cake with raspberry filling. The frosting they use tastes WONDERFUL. I say it tastes like marshmallows. My fiance says it tastes like the inside of a twinkie! Mmmmm

I had 7 cakes spread out.. each different flavors and fillings.. Chocolate Cake with Cherry filling,
Vanilla Cake with banana cream filling
Chocolate with chocolate cream filling
Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Cream Filling
Vanilla with Pineapple filling
Chocolate with cream cheese and chocolate chip filling
Vanilla with the icing in the middle (this one we saved for our one year anniversary).

Everyone loved the idea of choosing the flavor they wanted. The only thing is that we didn't get to try them all.. My husbands brother made out cake.. he was a culinary arts student. I LOVE MY CAKE!! http://new.photos.yahoo.com/i_amaqte/album/576460762325761198/photo/294928803329665688/189

My cake will look like this http://weddings.theknot.com/odb/themes/realweddings/detailview.aspx?id=20497&type=3&wedding_details=Cake%2cGroom%27s+Cake but 3 tiers and the cakes will be squared but twisted kind of offset
with white flowers and pink frosting and the flavor of the cake is going to be guava with white chocolate frosting. I'm so excited because we just met our cake girl yesterday! It was so good!

Our cake was white with buttercream icing. It also had a raspberry chocolate mousse filling. It was so great, someone at our wedding cancelled a cake for an upcoming event & booked the same place that made my cake. It was 3 layers, each layer had a different pattern, & it was covered in different shades of pink roses. Our colors were pink & gold.

Mine was chocolate cake, covered in marzipan and fresh flowers. It was beautiful as well as delicious.

My daughter will be getting married in October, and has decided to go with croquembouche, instead of a standard cake. The baker we chose offers a ton of different filling flavors (I think there were nine to choose from). My daughter and her fiance decided on chocolate and grand marnier (each in their own cream puff, not mixed together).

The lowest layer will be white cake with strawberry filling, the second will be chocolate with chocolate filling and the top will be simple white cake.

Icing will be white butter cream with white 'pearls' of icing and white roses around the bottoms of the cake layers.

My cake is going to be 4 layers that are separate, each one on a different height acrylic stand. The layers are going to be set up kind of doing a spiral from smallest layer on top to biggest layer at bottom. Basket weave, white, buttercream icing with strawberry and Bavarian cream center. Fresh red roses throughout!

I had a 4 tier wedding cake and each layer had a different flavor: pound cake with strawberry filling, pound cake with lemon filling, white cake with coconut custard filling, and white cake with pineapple filling. Then, I surprised my husband with a 2 tier groom's cake that had one layer of marble cake with grand marnier filling and chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling.

We didn't have a wedding cake, per se - not the big thing on display, anyway! Instead, we had traditional Ukrainian wedding breads (korovai) on display - they are beautiful braided breads, decorated, and we had them three-tier, set up like a 'cake'. We had a variety of cheesecakes and other desserts for after supper. However, we did give traditional wrapped and decorated fruitcake to our guests at donations, for them to take home to put under their pillows to 'dream on' - that's a tradition in our family.
