No, your molars don't come out unless there's a problem. Molars are permanent and do not have preceding primary teeth.

Molar teeth by definition are cheek teeth that are NOT preceded by primary teeth. Permanent molars are accessional teeth without primary predecessors. In contrast to the molars, permanent incisors, canines, and premolars are succedaneous (successional teeth).

Which molars are you concerned with?
If you are asking about when the last baby teeth molars are lost, 12 years is about the right time. Girls in general lose their last baby teeth a little earlier than boys.
If you are asking if a set of permanent molars come in at about age 12, the answer is yes. You get your first set of permanent molars ("6 year molars") at about age 6 , the second set ("12 year molars") at about age 12 , and the third set at about age 18-20 ("wisdom teeth").

I remember! My son is now 22 months, but started getting his molars by 12 months- it was AWFUL!!!!! He was SUCH a bear for like 3 months while they were coming in. It was a TON worse than his normal teeth coming in- NOTHING made him happy. In fact he had 4 2nd yr molars coming in at the same time (living hell!) and started biting other kids bc of it. We had to completely isolate him from other kids while he was teething- it was so hard. Now that we look back on it I hardly remember it- but hang in there- it will pass I promise!! It took my son about 3 months for everything to come in and be normal again, but we just stayed home a LOT and tried to make him happy.

Molars? Well, I'm not exacly a dentist, but my dad told me once that usually, your molars don't even come in all the way. But when they do, yes, they do eventually fall out, just like all your other baby teeth. I'm thinking. Like I said, I'm no dentist, but that's what I expect would happen. Hope this helps!

HI,
THE LAST TEETH TO BE LOST ARE THE BABY SECOND MOLARS. THESE ARE LOST WHEN YOU ARE ABOUT 12. THE 12-YEAR MOLARS ARE THE NEW PERMANENT SECOND MOLARS.
