As far as my experience goes, lemon juice lightens your hair very little when used lightly just before sun exposure. It more commonly works on natural blondes than it would for a brunette but you could try it out. It will dry your hair pretty bad tho as it is an acidic fruit.

Dont do it~!! it only works on blonde-dark blonde hair. On anything darker there are hints of red in the tone and lemon juice will exaggerate it!

It will give you blonde highlights. If you want red hair, but cranberry juice or beats in it, and sit in the sun.

It will likely not do anything unless you are light brown. If you want highlights you are best to use actual highlights.

It will come out more orange/red. If you want to go from dark to blonde, your best bet is to use (awww) bleach.

no and no, peroxide works for hightlights though. you have to do it for awhile. When I was younger I did it and it worked. I put it in a spray bottle and used it that way.
