You have a boyfriend!!!
you are to young to have a boyfriend and your parents are right to not let you do all that stuff i mean you are only 14 years old!
Sorry but you have to wait for some more years!

Maybe you get good grades because they are so strict. It is hard and intimidating to sit down and talk with them, but DO IT! Find out what their concerns are and reasonably address each one. Don't get offended by their responses and don't throw a tantrum if they still say no.
If they see you talking maturely to them on a regular basis, they are bound to treat you more maturely.
By the way, if you don't have to wear a lot of makeup, don't. Your skin will probably be clearer and prettier. And unfortunately, people, especially teenagers, tend to label girls who wear lots of makeup and revealing clothes as easy, whether you are or not. The label of "nerd" is easier to deal with and get rid of than "easy".
They love you, let them take care of you!

It's the complaint factor, you may not disobey them, but at this moment you are showing then a complete lack of Respect. Your 14, and not of age to go out on your own. And your temper tantrum show that they are right in seeing you as a baby. NOW! if you expect to be treated in more of an adult manner , then you need to act in more of an adult manner. 14 is a hard age, for most boys and girl, a lot is happening inside that is out of their control, tends to keep them from thinking rationally. it will even out after awhile and you will be glad your parents have some ground rules. hang in there, your on your way to growing up.

I agree with Libby and Fuzzykitty. You are still young, and I Know it's hard for you to see that, trust me I was there not that long ago, I'm still young. The point is that if you stick my what you want and gain their respect then they will slowly but surely trust you. But you have to show they why they should trust you. Develop a relationship with your parents, let them get to know your reasoning for the things you want to do and put them in your place. :-) I hope I could be of help. Good luck with that. :-D

Dang your parents is strict.I'm 11 and i were make up.Try talking to them. You might not want to here this from an 11 year old but they may have a point about the skirt thing.Dressing trashy is dressing not pretty.Your parents probably aren't used to you dating yet so that might be why they don't like your boy friend.Like I said try talking to them.Hope this helps. :-)

In the grand scheme of things you still are a baby. I know you think you're adult and I'm sure you're very smart; But they're only looking out for your well-being.

Enjoy being young, you're going to be an adult for a lot longer

I'm sure you have heard this before but talk to your parents!!!!!! Tell them at dinner or whenever you have alone tI'me with them that " I NEED SPACE!!!!" You are a teen and im sure you deserve the chance to have your own time to be with your boyfriend and so on. Break it to them gently. Its hard for a parent to lose their "baby" so to speak. I should know. That is exactly what my mom said when I had that little chat.GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

As far as them dictating how you dress, they have every right to do so. When you dress hoochie, you are telling everyone that you are easy. People who dress hoochie are more likely to be raped versus those that don't. What is it about your boyfriend they don't like? I bet they have good reason.

I know you don't want to hear this, but like I tell mine, you are ONLY 14. You have so much time to experience everything, so enjoy being 14.
