Aging has nothing to do with having beauty peak. Many of my relatives were pretty stupid-looking when they were in high school, but are attractive as adults. It has to do with a person's genetics. Some people make ugly kids or teenagers, but make good looking adults. Besides, it's all relative. Some people NEVER look good at all.

Some are prettiest in high school-20's but I think the most attractive phase is in the 30's as they get more confident and they sort of come into themselves, which is reflected in their looks. After that the aging starts to set in. But I don't think that the cut off is the 20's at all. Many men look better as they get out of their youth. Many of the actresses that are touted as great beauties were at the height of their fame in their 30's.
Have you seen high school pictures of some famous "beauties"? My point is that not everyone looks that great under 20. There's a lot of truth in "growing into your looks" for many people.

some people do peak out in there early 20s but their are many older women that peak out a lot later in life. I think most guy reach it in their 40s if they take care of their self's.

Sorry to burst your bubbles there people, I'm going on 40 and I just keep getting better!! The crow's feet don't bother me...it shows character and a lot of years of smiling. I've seen women that exude sheer beauty well into their 80's. I do believe it's what radiates from the inside that adds to their physical beauty. I don't know about this "peak" thing but individual lifestyle is surely a factor.

The aging process is always in the works.. alot is based on the elasticity of your skin.. but I dont believe there is a peek... a lady that I go to church with is almost 65, and she is awesome, beautiful, in shape.. and all natural... no surgeries or cosmetic enhancements.. so I think it just depends on how you have lived your life...

I think Victor Hugo said that for women, there is a glow at 15 that doesn't appear again until her mid 30s. Both times they are at their peak attractiveness.

Early twenties is the peak. I've seen plenty of guys start to get white hair in their mid-twenties, and plenty of girls start to look wrinkly in their mid-twenties.

I think the most beautiful people are from 21-35. But hey, there are always exceptions to the rule.
