Just some fine print at the end: "prayers will not be honored, and everything aformentioned may not actually be true."

The Torah was written by three authors and they changed a lot according to their perceptions and belief - from where the Genesis came - and the old testament - it was changed again during the new testament.
All religions are based on human insecurity - ask yourself - and they build an institution out of it to trap people. I would change the Bible from a religious book to a simple mythology. And Just pout a line of advice to lead a moral life with high integrity, love and compassion for all.

I would attempt to make the clearest definition of things based upon what is known about linguistics. I certainly would not attempt to be Politically Correct nor beat around the bush.
I wouldn't take out anything, but I would color code based on texts, editions, etc.
I would like to see a COMPLETE set of scriptures, including all the thrown out or banned books, but color coded and annotated so people would know the origin and exlusion details.

In all honesty I would have to pass on the opportunity. While I believe in God and DO NOT believe in the Bible (or much of it I should say) I still do not feel like I am the proper person for that job.

I wouldn't take anything out, but I would rewrite the English translation so that it's an exact match with the original Hebrew and Greek.

You know, I think I'd leave it just as it is. I'd still challenge most interpretations of it, though.
