I am sorry to hear about your friend. I will keep her in prayer.
John 10:27-30
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”

John 6:39 - And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them to eternal life at the last day.
-----
This is the verse you are speaking about. But, it seems that your friend needs more than just a few scriptures. She needs the whole Bible and a good Bible teaching church to see her through this hard time she is going through and lots of prayers and love from those who are her friends and loved ones.
Let your friend know that God is aware of everything happening in her life. Even though she is going through a tough time right now, the LORD has a plan for her life and the things that she endures is only going to help to make her that much stronger in her life.
My prayers are with you both, May God Bless You both!

This is one really tough situation sabrina...I really hope that after reading your post that more of us will stand in prayer for your friend as for you as you shepherd her through this really hard time in her life.
We can be certain that the Lord will work all things together for Good for your friend...
The book of John may be a very comforting book full of life to speak to her at this time in her life.. also some of the verses the brothers and sisters sited here in Corinthians...
But reading it with her and even praying back some of these verses to the Lord might be a good way to really saturate her mind with the Word
I am thankful sabrina that there is no distance in prayer...
And once our prayers come from deep in our spirit concerning all the dear brothers and sisters ,,then the Lord has a way to enter into and do something about this situation.
Lord remember sabrina's young friend. Be with her at this hard time in her life. Be the one guarding her heart and thoughts through Your indwelling Word. Sanctify her in the truth.. Your Word is Truth ( Jn 17 17) Comfort her heart and her whole being from all the pain she has endured in the past. Shield her and protect her in this new environment...Cause the enemy to not do any more harm to this dear one. Use the prayers of all the brothers and sisters all over the world to work things out for the sake of this one... we look to You because of ourselves we can do nothing.
Strengthen sabrina as she takes the time to be with her friend .. Fill her mouth with Your words and encourage her to endure and see this to the end with her friend. Bind satan and defeat all his works.
Be glorified Lord..
We praise You for what You will do and have done.
In Your name we pray
amen
Keep in touch sabrina

I don't know that one. But here's one that's gotten me thru!
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the kness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

The only thing to say is that tribulation is blessing. The beatitudes (in Matthew) promise Earthly sufferings and Heavenly blessings. The hardships we experience now are permitted against us that our suffering may strengthen our faith and devotion to God and draw us into closer communion with him. It is the man who has everything this life has to offer that has been abandoned by God; the man who is thrown on the street with no money for food or clothes, and no friends or family, that is truly blessed, for in deprivation we learn to seek God wholeheartedly.

The Lord Says:" I will never leave you nor forsake you."
(Philippians 4:13) "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
(1 Corinthians 3:5-6) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknoledge him and he will make your paths straight."
(Isaiah 41:13) "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you: Don not fear; I will help you."

Romans 8
35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
