I want to download VLC media player. But I have to choose an operating system, but I don't know which one I have.

Click on Start, then Run, then type: Winver
a screen will pop up with all that information on it.

Ok u have to do this: right click on My PC, click on Properties, and then on the General tab u will find out the info about ur operating system.

Do you have Windows? If so, right click on the My Computer icon and then click Properties in the menu that pops up. You will see what version of Windows you have on the first screen.

When you turn on your computer, it will tell you. You can also right-click "My Computer" and go to "Properties". Your OS system information will appear there, unless you have a Mac or Linux.

If you have any company other than Apple, it's Windows (or Linux, but it's obvious you don't have it), and if you have Apple, it's Mac.
