Since you are asking about truffles in the US, I assume you mean the fungus, not the chocolates.
The most popular truffles, the black, white, chinese, and summer do not grow in the US under normal circumstances, but
"In the Pacific Northwest, several species of truffle are harvested both recreationally and commercially, most notably, the Oregon white truffles, Tuber oregonense and Tuber gibbosum."
Who knew?

What about them? Yes, we have truffles in the United States. You can buy them in any candy store. Or you can make your own. They're pretty much just chocolate, whipping cream and butter. The Ghiradelli chocolate chip bag has a very simple recipe on it. You can add liquers, nuts, other flavorings...I made about 10 dozen last Christmas!
