I based my decision on the research I did and one link above all others gave me all the information I needed.

This is why I made my decison, I encourage the citizens who ask the question to read and give me your thoughts on it. I sleep better knowing that I stuck to my guns and made the right desicion. If this Bill did get passed could you sleep at night knowing what chaos the loop holes would have caused? Please I would to know.

Okay for the record I am not against enforcing current laws now. Just to get that out of the way.

Take a look at the measures the House is working on. Enforcement, border security, ending federal aid to sanctuary cities, no amnesty measures.
Speak out and speak up.
Continue the pressure on the government to protect the US.

I agree, instead of wasting the taxpayers money on this bill, which neither side was happy with, why not try enforcing our current laws. Those who want to spend 2.6 trillion dollars and give 12+ million illegal immigrants citizenship in the name of enforcement amaze me, what they are inferring is that by making all illegal immigrants citizens our laws will finally be enforced an upheld? that's ridiculous. Enforce the laws and close the borders to all but legal traffic.

The loopholes in this bill are so obvious anyone could find them but I think Sessions did a great job pointing them out.

I agree with you. I made the right decision as well. I think they intended to have many loopholes for a reason so that way it would benefit them with even more flexibility.

With some of those loopholes, the government might as well have released everyone from prison as well.

Now it's time to enforce all the laws that have been ignored for so long!

Since when is enforcing our laws doing nothing? Since when is passing enforcement laws badly needed doing nothing? 1100 laws up against amnesty in the states alone last year...

Senator Sessions told it the way it was. Not the way some of the elected slugs tried to spin it.

I am very happy with this being shot down, I haven't lost all faith in the government YET. See what happens when you put dems in power? Scary.

Are you able to sleep at night knowing that 5 million immigrants will be in here within the nexxt 2 years? Are you able to sleep knowing that the current immigration laws WILL NOT be enforced?

Something doing something can cause more problems...the squeaky wheel sometimes gets over-greased, or even replaced...needlessly.
