i live in central california, and i can't seem to find any smaller-rostered record labels that will sign an acoustic-alt/indie musician. i'm finding that the more popular labels do not accept demo cds unless they are distributed by a smaller record label. if there are any labels in california you have heard of, that will accept demo cds... where are they, what is the name of the label(s)?? i'm having the time from hell trying to get signed by ANYBODY because i can't find ONE FREAKING LABEL. this sucks.
just thought i'd ask.
any answer would be appreciated.
:) thanks.

myspace.com/torifife
the guy who recorded it had never recorded before and kinda messed with the way my guitar sounds and added some bass guitar and stuff.
but i just got done recording some more raw stuff that i'll be adding on the page pretty soon.. so there wont be the "mess"...

It would be worth it to buy the latest copy of " The Songwriters Market" It lists thousands of indi labels and producers. Good luck!
