I have no idea how many lives I get. It will be when my soul has learned its lessons and takes its place among the Gods. Damn SisterZeal, I was starting to like you. You went and ruined it.

I love you guys. You trip me out.
For the record no our Gods won't judge you harshly and burn you for all eternity. The understand we are human and they love us anyways. Take comfort in that. :)

Wow alot of you are missing the point on this....
IF you are wrong and IF the Gods were to judge you as you claim your God will judge us, then we getto go heaven and you get to go to Hades. So you are risking t hings! Just as much as we are by following our Gods.

Just a comment about how questions like these never get anywhere,
These arguments with overly religious people, is like arguing with a child,
it's always, "I know you are, but what am I...."
F*cking ridiculous that's what.

case in point: lufiabuu
one person says infinity, lufiabuu says, in a sense, infinity +1 (which he very well knows makes no sense.)

I don't really fear this scenario.

I just don't feel that polytheist forms of belief can be reconciled with what we know of cosmology. Knowing that creation was the result of an instantaneous nanosecond's scalar field, with everything originating from a single point, it appears that existence is completely singular in origin. It does not in any way look like the kind of creation that could have been authored by multiple beings.

From my perspective, that pretty much precludes multiple deities. The only deity that could really be responsible for the Big Bang would be a non-temporal being pretty much encompassing all of existence and potential existence; since this being would have to be so transcendent in scope as to encompass everything, I don't think that leaves room for a pantheon of Titan-like "mini-gods."

As far as I can tell, it pretty much only leaves room for a deity of monotheistic conception, be it the Deist's clockwinder, something like the Abrahamic God, or at least a singular life-force Godhead like the Hindu Brahman or Christian trinity.

Unfortunately, I just don't think our current understanding of cosmology can be matched up with either the pagans or the mormons, who favour a kind of polytheism as well. That's just how I feel, and I'm not trying to give offence, just explaining my position.

Also, I don't think what we know of brain chemistry and biology permits us to consider the possibility of reincarnation. People are born completely unique, and their thinking patterns are set by observing the surrounding environment and by performing language heuristics as babies. Who I am cannot be transposed onto your brain chemistry, or anyone's... who I am cannot be reproduced, not even by direct cloning.

Well here is the thing.

you have Four things you must proof us wrong.

1. God the father in Heaven - For He is the creator
2. Jesus Christ - For He is our savior that died in the Cross for our sins and to save us
3. The Holy Spirit - which is why we know he exists for we can feel him and through Him we see God's power in our life's
3. The Devil - for he is the Father off all sin and lies

so you see you must prove that Science is right with evolution - so tell me where did the gasses that created the world came form and How was the universe formed and what is in the other side of a black hole?

you must prove that Jesus is not real when even History has prove he existed.

you must prove that the Holy Spirit is not real when we can see God's Glory in our life and he can feel his presence

and you must prove that the devil doesn't exist for there are hundreds of devil worshipers around the world and witchcraft does exist (black magic).

so now tell me who is wrong?

Think about things, seek God and He shall show you the way.

God Bless

To all these religions that think they have the one and only true God, everyone else will be judged. I'm guess everyone, then, will be judged cause no one follows all the religions and all the religions say that all the other religions are hell bound. Follow me? LOL

If I am wrong, then I have lost nothing. I have love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.

I have also loved others as Christ has loved me...again...I have lost nothing.

I'd rather live my life, die and find out I'm wrong and there's "no God." Than live my life like there's no God, die and find out I'm wrong...and it's too late.

...Now if you are wrong...

There's eternal torment, pain...weeping...and deep remorse for knowing...but doing nothing about it.

Please don't wait too long. Your eternity hangs in the balance.

well, i am certainly not well versed in the writings of pagan gods, but i am not familiar with any that punish unbelief with death...

so, if that presumption holds true... i guess u can say that i lived life well, will die well - with no regrets, and dont have to worry about being punished for not believing in gods who failed to prove themselves in any fashion, shape or form.

nah. Because if there are more than 1 God, then the God i believe in is all the gods and goddess combined, meaning i woshiped them all along :P. Just like i believe polythiestic people to be worshipping the one God that i believe in (because i do infact believe him to be the only true) just in the His different forms/aspects of him..

Edit: topher, it isn't that way. If there are infinite gods, then i worship them all at the same time via worship of the God i believe in.... Let's use an orange as an example. WHat i worship is like the whole orange. But if it happens to be that it is a bunch of slices (which it is) i'm worshiping those slices via worship of the orange as a whole....

The spirit of God himself dwells within me. I feel it. I know it. I do not believe just because I decided to jump on the bandwagon. Many seem to not mention the third part of the trinity. But when the spirit of God comes upon you, he reveals things to you that cannot be expressed in words.
