Every year, I get a VERY sore nose. What will happen is that it will start in the form of a sore, at the base of my nose...you know the part that connects the nose to the lip, righ t between the nostrils? So it will be a small sore that will be very red. Then a short time later, it will spread to the rim of my left nostril, and that will be red and sore, and then it will progress into my nostril. It only happens in the left nostr il and when I exam it, I find sores in my left nostril as well. And not to be gross, but the sores will crust over and I can also smell...what smells like puss in my nostril; i'm assuming coming from the sores inside. I've been to the Doctor for this and he gave me allergy pills. It goes away when I take them, but it keeps coming back when I stop! How do I get it to go away permanently? And how in the world can allergies cause sores to develop on your nose? Help! It's pretty gross and hurts to blow my nose.

what you describe could easily be the herpes virus, it is not uncommon to have the virus travel the nerve pathways between nose and mouth. The allergy pills, antihistamines, dry up the blisters that open into sores so they tend to heal a bit faster....Valtrex will inhibit the number of outbreaks you have, but nothing cures herpes, you have to just live with it. It is a virus that is contracted in childhood when you have chicken pox, the varicella virus. It remains dormant in the nervous system until something triggers it to become active, and many things can trigger it. Be careful, if you touch your face, like blowing your nose and then touch your genital region with out washing, you can transmit the virus to your genitals where it will mutate into genital herpes. So, don't blow your nose while sitting on the toilet and then wipe yourself. Always wash your hands after touching your face.

I got diagnosed with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 4 years back, when I was still in college and had a foolish one-night stand. I realize a lot of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/hPiQF everything improved.

Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method provided the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.
