You need to buy an installation disc if you don't have one. You can't download it except for the new Vista, but you still have to pay.

You need a Windows CD, can't download it from anywhere. If you computer came with windows, try contacting the manufacturer for some restore discs.
Otherwise, install Ubuntu/Kubuntu or SuSe Linux. Those distributions are easy to install and use.

You can't download Windows. You need to re-install it from your original disk. Red Hat 9 was always a bit shaky, you would have been better off with a late Suse or Ubuntu distribution.

No, not unless you do it illegaly. Also if you did manage to download it Vista makes it very hard to go back to XP. XP is going obselete now so there's not much point. Vista is actually a fairly stable OS now, just download Service Pack 1 and it's fine.

As far as I know you can not download it. You need to have an installation cd to install windozs. Receiving by any other means constitutes theft.

See if you have a system restore disk that came with your computer.
Load that.
If not, you will have to buy Windows.
