I want wine for the bridesmaid dresses, but what would be a good accent color to go with it?

Home Depot...paint chips and wallpaper. Also Benjamin Moore paints have an online tool now where you can play with all of their paint colors and practice putting them together. Just play until you find a look that fits the mood you want for your wedding.

Wine is pretty dark so I would choose a medium color and a light color to go with it. Perhaps champagne and cherry?

A soft pink is beautiful with wine, as is crystal icy white. The pink is a soft look while the white makes the wine color really stand out!
Also, ivory is a lovely contrast to wine. Certain shades of gold go with wine, also. I'd steer clear of anything dark - that would be too much dark & could make things feel a bit funereal.
Ivory & metalic gold accents together would be beautiful with the wine.
Hope this helps!

Some pretty colors that work well with wine are pink, ivory, cream, champagne, depending on the shade of wine you could maybe incoporate a shade of purple.

Get a swatch of your color and try different color combos until you find the one that suits you. Good luck!

I think burnt orange and wine makes a stunning combination, but it depends on when you're getting married. For instance burnt orange and wine would be lovely in the fall, but maybe for a holiday wedding you may want to do wine and silver. In the summer or spring you may want to do wine and cream. Good luck!

Wine would look lovely with either a shade or gold or champagne. If its a reder wine color it could look beautiful with a deep rich purple too.

Lovely choice of a color though! I'm sure it will be very classy.
Good luck and best wishes!

I don't know if you picked your dress yet, but I think if you got an ivory dress (instead of white) that would look fantastic with the dark wine color. They would contrast very well...wine and ivory.

I like a nice champagne color to go with wine. With a bit of a metallic shimmer thread shown in.

A lot of people have suggested champagne...I would also say that a nice butter yellow could be a good compliment to the wine color.

I may be the odd duck here but what about a rich chocolate brown. Maybe a shiny satin sash. Think of wine colored roses wrapped in brown silk ribbon......lovley!
