Ok so I love chocolate and peanut butter, and breadsticks and all the other yummy fatning foods. I am trying to lose weight so it seems I crave these things even more. Im not too much over weight but i want to lose weight. So how can I get over my cravings so I can lose weight, or how can I lose weight while still eating my favorite foods. I know weight watchers has chocolate cake, and alfredo, and ice cream but it seems like weight watchers would take forever if following the points system. Has anyone ever done the weight watchers program, does it seem to really work? how long does it take to lose weight, like 3 pounds a week or what? or is there something else i can do that allows me to eat some sweet snacks. I do eat lots of fruits and veggies and i exercise, i just cant get over my cravings for the bad stuff. i dont gain weight but i can never lose, what should i try doing?

I tried weight watchers a few years ago with my mom. We lost atleast a few pounds a week and weren't really overweight to begin with.

Anyways, I'm no longer following weight watchers but I must say that I've learnt a lot from the experience about healthy choices and portion control.

Pretty much, weight watchers will tell you that if you are very careful about your healthy choices it won't kill you to have some of your cravings.

Good luck.
