OK so i have long brown hair about 4 inches past my shoulders. I
have side bangs and layers, but i am getting them re-cut because
they are growing out. But for my layers, i might make them more choppy looking. but i dont want them to be punky or anything. so can you guys help me and give me like some pictures or something? thanks! =]

You can have the layers cut a little more bluntly like this: http://www.matrix.com/find_your_hair_style/medium/style_14.aspx?scroll=270

or w/ a bit more difference in length like this:

or more jagged: http://www.matrix.com/find_your_hair_style/medium/style_14.aspx?scroll=270
