We have got mosquitos everywhere. They are swarming all around the house.... all over the screens, etc. I can't walk outside with them attacking me. Is there any way you know of to get rid of them? I go out and spray a flying insect killer but it only helps momentarily and they're back. H-E-L-P!

Bugs from hell. A few even sneak into the house while the dog goes in and out of the house.
We even had one lay its eggs in the "U" part of the drain of a guest bathtub that we rarely use. Every time you'd use that bathroom mosquitos would come out of nowhere and bite you. And then I noticed one coming out of the bathtub drain!
So I turned the tub water on for a while and that was the end of that, but I couldn't believe how resourceful they were. Of ALL places!!! (But that "U" under the floor is essentially standing water by design, to keep poison gases out of your house.)
We tried the propane gas things too and they really didn't work. The only solution is to locate all the standing water within 300 yards of your house and put stuff in there to kill them. Propolyne Glygol works well. (It's the stuff that cigar smokers use to humidify their humidors and it prevents bacteria growth. It's a kind of glycerine. Put a little bit in a pool of standing water and it prevents the mosquito larvae from breathing, yet it won't hurt other animals that might drink the water.)
You have to get rid of the standing water or else they just keep reproducing.
And they actually have a short life span, so if you do that, the old generations will quickly die out and you'll only get the rare long-distance buggers coming around.

1. Use DEET so at least they don't land on you.
2. Get rid of any standing water ( This is Key )
3. Build a Purple Martin House or breed bats.
4. Hope for an early winter.
5. Get a Bug Zapper which emits CO2.

pray - you are asking in religion, so I think that's the solution religion has to offer. Alternative you could do an exodus and move somewhere else.
apart from that you can use mosquitos nets, otherwise it's a bit late to combat mosquitos now, but in order to prevent future attacks:
remove sources of standing water if that's possible (buckets, pots, clean gutters to eliminate standing water in gutters etc). There are also products which will prevent mosquitos from pupating successfully if added to water, so that's an option.
I addition you should make the environment around your house attractive to birds, bats, and other animal life. There are lots of predators for mosquitos and by encouraging to live around you you will decrease the number of mosquitos and other insects in a significant manner.

Get rid of whatever standing water is around your home - they breed in that. If they are swarming your home, you have standing water around... Then, get Deet repellant and cover yourself in it before you go outside. Wear long sleeves and pants, rgardless of the heat.
I dont know where you live, but out here in California, they just found two dead birds that tested positive for West Nile Virus in my local area.... Only about 1% of the population is at risk of dying from WNV, but why take the chance?

Get a citronella plant and put it next to the door. Then make sure that there is no standing water in the yard. That is where they breed. And some OFF repellent can be used on yourself to keep them from lighting. Citronella coils and candles work too.

Geez, and it's gotten to the point where you're even posting questions to the R&S section? What kind of answer were you looking for, "Pray that they go away"? "Use shamanism to tell them to go away"? "Be like Buddah and realize that the pests are merely Maya"?
Maybe you should ask this in the "Home & Garden" section.

Pray about it, or if that doesn't work because your prayers might not be intent, ask this in a different category.
