Point 1, the Police and Customs will be paying you a visit when your package is checked at the post office, as is all incoming mail from outside France.
Point 2. The seller will probably require you to show some proof that you have a legitimate license for a firearm before they will even consider selling a gun to you.
Point 3. the possession of a firearm without a legitimate license is a criminal offense.

The only legal way to have a firearm delivered off of the net in the US is to a licensed firearm dealer.
A private citizen can not have it shipped to him...
So if there is a licensed firearm dealer in France (Not!) You would have to go talk to them about delivery...
