My mother and her mother came in this country the right way. The mexicans and other latin immigrants make it bad. Why do they think they are special now?

it's easy for them to come in illegally because they can just cross the border by feet or by hiding in cars. for others they became illegal immigrants because they overstayed. unless there's a real enforcement of laws, it will just continue and unfortunately power-hungry politicians are so dumb to see what future lies ahead if this happens.

Let the government deal with that!
There are Latin immigrants that are here legally. What are you talking about.
There are a lot of illegal immigrants from Russia, japan,Italy.
A lot from the European country.
You are just talking about Latin.

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH LATIN AMERICANS YOU SHOULD NOT BE SINGING THERE SONGS OR LYRICS.

Proximity. It's really just because they can do so without having to stow away aboard a container ship or anything, that they come here illegally in so much greater numbers than say, Asians. It's easier to swim the Rio Grande than the Pacific.

Of course, one reason so many illegals come to America from all over the world is that we permit an unrealistically low level of legal immigration.

I don't care HOW many come in, as long as they are LEGAL...I don't want the criminals and low life's from another country, we have our own to deal with. And you know what? Other countries have much stricter immigration laws, some don't allow immigration at all. Why do we have to accommodate the illegals? Why do we have to worry about upsetting THEM? If you want to be here, follow the law. And don't tell me they're "too strict" or "too difficult" if you want to be here, just do it. Others have, so everyone can. Personally, I say close the borders. Deport ANYONE who is illegal. Get our house in order, THEN think about how to have a workable immigration policy that fits the current need of the country...not theirs, OURS!

Do you even know how hard it is to become a legal citizen? You seriously think they love walking for days through the desert to come here?? No. It can cost thousands of dollars to become legal and they have to prove they have property/businesses to come back to if they are trying to get a visa. All the illegals that come here are poor obviously and can't afford to come the legal way. Maybe if we made it a little bit easier then those that wanted to come to the US, that passed background checks, health checks, etc...could come, then they wouldn't be pouring in illegally every day!!

Mexicans ARE special! Give them a way to do it legally, and I bet you they will. The only way OTHER Latin countries come in "legally" is by being refugees.

They won't come the right way because they refuse to learn english and even get to know the right way. Also, there are so many that want to come here, the wait time is getting longer and longer and they are impatient. Then it is so easy for them to come here and get work that they just come in and get paid.

It all starts with the language barrier and the businesses hiring them.

Having a 30% chance of success and a 10 year waiting period isn't that great.

They don't want to go through the process , which can take 5 years, and some of them would not be able to get in, as they are criminals. They don't respect our laws and could care less that they are here illegally.
