Big row with the husband, he left, took the dog etc etc you get the idea, well i started giggling and couldnt stop, needless to say she didnt find it at all amusing, i was just amazed he hadnt done it years ago.

This is really bad, but it was a funeral. It was not the funeral that was funny, but it was because it was held at a very religious place unfamiliar to me and some kids who attended did not know what to do, they done everything wrong and got the giggles. I saw what they were laughing at and it started me off, it was made worse by the fact that I knew I was not supposed to laugh. The more I tried to get a grip the worse it became. I started trying to pretend that I was taken over by emotion, to try and cover.
Gosh the poor person you were interviewing they must have been really paranoid.

I laughed out loud at a funeral when I was ten. It was my friend's grandfather's funeral and we both had a fit of the giggles, really bad ones where you are almost crying. Everyone was glaring at us, it was odd because we didn't find it funny at all, I think it was a nervous reaction as neither of us had been to a funeral before.'
Unfortunately I have had to attend many funerals since then, I have never laughed at any more.

Yes and everyone is like what is she laughing at this was so horrible. Last Saturday at a co-workers wedding I was sitting at the table when one other the girls I work with her husband asked me if I was bored? I thought he asked me if I was POOR so I snapped and went off on him for like 1 min well he started laughing then he said I asked you if you was bored then the whole table was asking what was so funny so our whole table was laughing right as the Father of the bride was giving his speech. SO our whole table had the giggles during the speeches I felt so bad

I work in a call centre for a very well known company, I laugh all the time at customer complaints. The other day I had such a funny woman on the phone that just kept taking non-sense I had to put myself on mute wile I p**ed my self! she thought I had cut her off so started having a go at me... I just cracked up!! why would you shout out an empty phone if you think you have been cut off. I then came back on to explain she was just on mute and I hadn't cut her off, I put her on hold wile I was dieing, when I came back she after about 3 seconds she started all over again with her complaint. I explained it was me she hung up! I don't think she phoned again. very funny though!

( I don't wear a red fez though , that would just be a step to far LOL)

My mother and I had a fit of the giggles at my father's funeral. We were being typically British and stoic.
At the crematorium as the curtains opened and the coffin started to move, my mother-in-law let out a very audible sigh. My mother whispered to me, 'Did your father have something going with your mother-in-law?'
We both hoped that the rest of the people present thought we were sobbing discreetly as we tried to stifle the giggles.

Hasn't everyone done this at one time or another?? Most of the time, the reason why we do things like this is because we are in an uncomfortable situation. Laughter helps us to feel more comfortable and relieves tension. It also releases those little endorphins in our brains that promote feelings of well-being...So go ahead, laugh! It's good for you!

I am partially deaf to certain frequencies so certain words can sound like other words.
I was in an advertising class and a student answered "hot jobs" job website and I heard "hot dogs".
I burst out laughing in a dead silent class and felt like an idiot.
